Ascend Amphitheater offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages for purchase during your time at the venue, from mixed drinks to wine to beer. A number of craft beers will be offered on site as well. Must be 21 years of age or older and provide a valid ID.
You are not permitted to bring in any alcoholic beverages into the venue.
All Access Passes
All Access Passes or Backstage Passes are not available for purchase. Visit www.livenation.com to view any VIP packages that may involve a meet and greet or additional access. The venue box office does not sell any meet and greet, backstage or venue passes.
Animals - Service
Ascend Amphitheater’s policy is consistent with the ADA’s, and defines that a "service animal" is limited to a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Under the ADA, "comfort," "therapy," or "emotional support animals" do not meet the definition of a service animal.
We have 2 ATM's on site – located at House Right Concession Plaza and House Left Concession Plaza.
If any assistance is needed with your vehicle please contact your normal Emergency Assistance provider. Ascend Amphitheater does not have tow or lockout services on site.
Baby Changing Stations
Baby Changing Stations are located within both men and women's restrooms around the venue.
All bags will be searched upon entry. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry. If you have any items that are not allowed into the venue please return them to your vehicle or discard them into the appropriate trash receptacles at the entry gates.
Banners and Signs
Signs larger than 8.5 X 11 in are not permitted into the venue. This size is a standard sheet of paper. We do not allow in banners or signs that are larger than this due to the potential to block other guests view of the performance. All signs must be appropriate in nature and not be a distraction to the artist.
Multiple bike racks are located along 1st Avenue for all shows.
The Box Office is open any day there is an event at the venue. For most event days the box office will open at noon. If an event day falls on a normal business day or Saturday - the box office will open at noon and remain open until the main act goes on stage. Tickets can be purchased for any Ascend Amphitheater event during the hours of operation.
SUBJECT TO CHANGE - The standard venue policy allows camera phones, disposable cameras, and small digital cameras. Any camera that has a detachable lens will be considered professional and not allowed in. If the camera lens zooms out of the camera more than 1 in- it will be considered a professional camera and will not be allowed in. Some artists do not permit cameras so please check back for the show you will be attending to ensure that we will be allowing cameras in.
The venue does not allow camping or overnight parking of any kind.
Cancellations will only occur in the event of severe weather, artist cancellation, or an act of God. In the event of a show cancellation local media will be notified and any information about a potential reschedule will be made available. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
Cell phones are permitted in the venue.
All of our events are all ages unless stated otherwise. Children 2 and under do not require a ticket, but must sit on a parent's lap.
Conceal and Carry
Ascend Amphitheater does not allow weapons of any kind in the venue. No patron will be allowed to enter the venue with a weapon. The venue will not secure weapons and will not take responsibility for any weapons left in vehicles.
Ascend Amphitheater offers a wide variety of concession options through Legends - our onsite concession management company. This includes cheeseburgers, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, candy, popcorn, bottled soda (Pepsi Products), and water.
There are also 3rd party vendors including Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint, and Crankees Pizzeria.
Concessions are located on each side of the seating areas as well as at the back of the lawn.

Credit/ Debit Cards
All concession and merchandise stands take all major credit cards – additionally, please see ATM's for cash locations on site.
Guests are permitted to bring in One (1) factory sealed bottle of water up to one gallon in size for most events. Aluminum bottles, refillable plastic water bottles, and Camel baks are not permitted, unless otherwise noted within the specific event information.
Any guest that is violating venue policy or law will be ejected from the facility at the sole discretion of Management.
In the event of an emergency while on site- Ascend Amphitheater has trained paramedics to assist with any medical issues. First Aid is located on the west side of the venue near the concessions building, but any staff member with a radio can dispatch First Aid to the location needed. Nashville Police are on site during events as well, in the event additional assistance is needed. Ascend Amphitheater works closely with the City of Nashville to ensure that we are up to date on any dangerous weather or potential crowd related issues. In the event of a weather emergency- we will communicate with guests that are inside of the facility as well as guests on their way to the venue. Guests with tickets for Reserved Seating, GA Floor, and GA Lawn for any show, should enter via Gate 1, located at the northwest corner of the venue, next to the box office. The VIP Entrance is located left of the box office.

Ascend Amphitheater will do our best to get any fan mail sent to the venue to the appropriate parties. We cannot guarantee that any package or letter will be given to an artist. We recommend visiting the artists website and sending any items to their designated address. We are not responsible for returning anything that is sent to the venue for an artist.
For certain events, Fast Lane upgrades may be available for an additional charge. The Fast Lane allows you access to a private entrance, limited to 200 per show, enabling you to skip the line at the main gate. The Fast Lane passes do not permit the guest to enter any earlier than the designated gate time, however it does have a short line. Fast Lane Gates are located at Gate 2, to the right of the Main Entry gates. The fast lane upgrades are available at https://livenation.expapp.com/upgrade
Gate times vary, but are usually 90 minutes prior to show time. Please check the specific event page as these times are subject to change.
Any tickets sold which read GA indicate a general admission area that does not have assigned seating. While your ticket will show a row number and a seat number, this does not reserve you a space within that area.
Group Ticket Sales
Ascend Amphitheater does not offer group ticket sales. If you have a large party that will be attending the show the only option would be to contact our Premium Seating Department at 615-932-6733. Premium Seating sells all VIP boxes at the venue that can accommodate larger parties than the standard ticket limit.
Guests are expected to behave respectfully and in accordance with venue policy and state laws. Any guest that is acting in a manner that venue management deems unsafe can be subject to eviction. If a guest violates a state or local law they will be subject to any tickets or punishment deemed necessary by local law enforcement.
Guests with Disabilities
Ascend Amphitheater strives to ensure that all of our guests have a great time at our venue. If you need additional assistance while you are here please make sure you let us know.
Accessible tickets can be purchased online via www.livenation.com. You do not need to call the box office to place an order as all of our accessible tickets are available through www.livenation.com. Look for the logo on the Find Tickets page to view all available accessible seats. We do have accessible seating in every price range, but be advised it does occasionally sell out. We have very limited seating available for guests on the day of the event so please make sure you purchase accessible seating when you order tickets.
Day of Show Parking
Accessible Parking is located at nearby downtown parking locations. An Accessible Drop Off point is located at the corner of Molloy St. and 1st Avenue S.
If you have had an injury or illness that prevents you from using the original seat you purchased we strongly recommend going through www.livenation.com to exchange all tickets for accessible seating. We will have a very limited number of seats available on the day of the show for such issues, and we cannot guarantee we will be able to seat you. However, if you arrive on site and need to exchange your purchased ticket for an accessible seat please go to the box office and they will be able to assist you with this request. Please remember that accessible seating allows for the guest and one companion. The companion is still required to purchase their own ticket.
If you will need an interpreter for an event please give us at least 2 weeks' notice to secure. Guests that request an interpreter will need to pick up their tickets at will call. When the tickets are picked up we will introduce you to your interpreter for the evening and take you to your seats. There is no charge for interpreter services. Please call 615-999-9000 to arrange for an interpreter for your visit.
The venue has designated accessible restrooms on site, located at all restroom locations. All concession stand and merchandise locations are accessible as well.
Guests that require assisted listening devices can contact our venue office prior to the event to arrange for a device. Please give us at least 2 days notice. Guests that require interpreter service can call the venue and arrange this for any event. We need at least 2 weeks' notice to secure an interpreter. We can be reached at 615-999-9000.
Item Check In
If you bring an item to the venue that is not permitted we do NOT have an item check in on site. Guests will be asked to return said item to their vehicle or discard in the appropriate trash/recycling receptacle.
Low back, low seat lawn chairs are allowed at Ascend Amphitheater. Lawn chairs with a seat higher than 9" off the ground (measured from the front of the seat) are NOT permitted. Please note: lawn chairs may be prohibited at certain events upon artist request.
Lawn Chair Rental
Lawn chairs are available to be rented at all shows where lawn chairs are permitted. Lawn chairs may not be permitted at the request of certain artists. Please call to confirm prior to arrival. Lawn chair rentals are cash only.
Lost or Stolen Tickets
Please report any lost or stolen tickets to Ticketmaster as soon as you are aware they are missing or destroyed. If a ticket needs to be reprinted during the event- guests can visit the box office and have their ticket reprinted for a fee. Please note we are only able to accommodate reprints for tickets that were purchased from a Ticketmaster/Live Nation authorized retailer.
Lost and Found
If you lose an item while you are at an event- you can visit our Guest Services tent located just inside entry gates to see if it has been turned in. Take I-65 S toward Nashville. Keep left at the fork to continue on I-24 E, follow signs for Interstate 24/Interstate 40 E/Chattanooga/Knoxville. Take exit 49 for Shelby Ave. and turn left onto Shelby Ave. Continue onto Korean Veterans Blvd. Turn right onto 1st Ave. S. Venue will be on the right.
From the South
Take I-65 N toward Nashville. Take exit 82B to merge onto I-40 E toward Knoxville. Stay right and immediately take exit 210C for U.S. 31 A S/4th Ave. S toward U.S. 41 A S/2nd Ave. S. Turn left onto 2nd Ave. S. Turn right onto Molloy St. Venue will be across 1st Ave. S.
From the East
Take I-40 W toward Nashville. Take exit 212 toward Hermitage Ave. Continue onto Decatur Ave. Turn left onto Hermitage Ave. Continue onto 1st Ave. S. Venue will be on the right.
From the West
Take I-40 E toward Nashville. Take exit 209B toward US-70S/US-431/Broadway/Demonbreun St. Merge onto 14th Ave. N and stay left to turn left onto Broadway. Turn right onto 8th Ave. S. Turn left onto Demonbreun St. Turn right onto 1st Ave. S. Venue will be on the left.
First Aid is located on the west side of the venue near the concessions building. We have trained medical personnel that are able to assist with any issue you encounter. We have ambulances on site throughout the duration of the event that can transport guests if needed. If you have a condition that requires you to use a needle for medication while you are here- please do so in our medical office so the syringe can be properly disposed of.
Merchandise will be available for all concerts at our Merchandise stand located near the house left concession plaza. All concert gear is property of the artist and the venue has no responsibility related to the craftsmanship or style of any merchandise. Please make sure you check that you have the correct size and there are no defects in the shirt before you walk away from the stand. The venue cannot assist with replacing or refunding any merchandise after the event has ended.
The venue does not have any pay phones on site.
General Parking will not be provided at Ascend Amphitheater. However, there will be many options in and around downtown to park at for events.

Premium / VIP Seating
If you are interested in purchasing our season seats within the reserved section or within our VIP boxes, please contact our PSS department at 615-346-9042. Neither the venue receptionist nor the box office can answer questions regarding pricing or availability for these locations.
The Nashville MTA offers direct bus service that connects to Ascend Amphitheater. For more information on MTA bus lines, visit www.nashvillemta.org or call (615) 862-5950 for convenient stations near Ascend Amphitheater.
Ascend Amphitheater participates in a venue wide recycling program. You will find recycling bins located next to every trash can. Please recycle where possible.
Restroom buildings are located on both sides of the venue seating area as well as at the back of the lawn. Accessible restrooms are located in all locations as well.
Scalping or reselling tickets is strictly prohibited. Any guest caught selling tickets in or around the venue will be processed accordingly.
The venue has reserved seating on the floor in sections Orch. 1-3 and sections 101-103. Shows that have a GA Floor will encompass all the floor seating in the previously mentioned sections. Guests will be expected to regularly show their tickets upon entry to their seating areas/GA Floor, so please be prepared.
We have VIP box seating located between the reserved seating locations and the GA lawn.
Re-Entry is not permitted at Ascend Amphitheater unless otherwise instructed by venue management. Please ensure that everything you will need for the event is brought in with you. If you do leave at any point in the evening- you will not be allowed back in without a new ticket. *If you are ejected from the venue due to a policy violation there will be no re-entry allowed*.
Venue security is located throughout the facility to ensure a safe and secure environment. All security personnel can assist with any questions or concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact our onsite staff if any assistance is needed.
Ascend Amphitheater is a NON-SMOKING facility. Guests wishing to smoke will need to exit through designated gate during event. Violation of smoking policy will result in ejection without refund.
Sponsorship / Hand Outs
All sponsorship inquiries should be directed to our downtown office - please call (615) 999-9000 and ask to speak with someone in the sponsorship department. Any handouts or presence onsite needs to be cleared with venue sponsorship. If you do not have permission to be onsite you will be escorted off the property immediately.
Strollers are not permitted at Ascend Amphitheater due to there being nowhere for them to be stored. They tend to also become a tripping hazard to other guests.
Videotaping is never permitted during events. Please see event specific information related to audio recording as some artists do allow audio recording.
Traffic around Ascend Amphitheater is controlled by city traffic management. Please monitor traffic surrounding the area and plan accordingly when coming to the venue. If there are any major traffic issues that will impact the start of the event we will post this information on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Ascendamphitheaternashville
Umbrellas are never permitted in Ascend Amphitheater.
Ascend Amphitheater has two LED screens. Video screens may not be used at some events due to artist request or inclement weather.
The VIP Club is a private lounge with an outside patio for our box seat ticket holders and season ticket holders. The club will open at doors and remain open until 1 hour after the event has ended. VIP Club guests will have access to restroom facilities, premium liquor and beer selections. For select shows, a limited number of VIP Club passes may be available for purchase at www.livenation.com.
VIP Parking is located at 2nd Avenue and Korean Veterans Boulevard. VIP Parking is included in the package for box seat ticket holders and season ticket holders.
All shows will go on rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather we will keep our fans notified via our Facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/Ascendamphitheaternashville. An event may be delayed, postponed, or cancelled depending on the severity of the weather expected.
Will call tickets are available for pickup at the box office located outside Gate 1. Please make sure that you have a photo ID matching the purchasers name to pick up tickets. Any name changes need to go through Ticketmaster Customer Service- 800-653-8000.
Guests are not permitted to put tickets in will call for other guests to pick up. You will need to arrange to meet your party at the facility to deliver tickets.
If tickets or passes are being left for you- they will only be left at the box office. This includes meet and greet passes, backstage passes, press passes, and tickets from the tour or any other promotional company. We do not get these tickets until late in the afternoon the day of the event so please do not try to pick them up earlier. If your tickets/passes are not at will call you will need to contact the person that left them for you to determine where they are. The box office cannot contact any member of the tour for you.
